Questions parents ask

Is the Practice Hall really free?

Yes, completely free: no ads, no subscriptions and no in-app purchases. It is one of the aliensbrain kids learning apps, made by the makers of aliensbrain.com.

Where is my child's progress stored?

Only on this device, in the browser's own storage. There is no account to create and no server anywhere: nothing is ever uploaded. Removing a profile on this page erases its history for good.

Does the app need internet?

The Practice Hall loads once and then works offline, on a bus or a train as well as at home. On a phone or tablet you can install it to the home screen from the browser menu, and it behaves like any other app.

Which olympiads does the practice cover?

Classes 1 to 10, five subjects: Maths (IMO style), English (IEO style), Science (NSTSE style), Cyber and Computer (NCO style) and General Knowledge (IGKO style). We are not affiliated with the exam boards; our questions follow the same syllabus topics and paper style. New to these exams? Read what the IMO exam is.

How is practice different for younger children?

Classes 1 to 3 get one question at a time, read-aloud support and a second chance before the answer shows. Classes 4 to 10 fill an OMR-style answer sheet like the real exam and see an explanation after every answer.

How does the review schedule work?

Every question answered wrong goes into a review bank and comes back after a few days, then at longer intervals, until it sticks. From this page you can print a practice sheet of exactly what is due, plus a weekly summary for each child.

Can I follow more than one child?

Yes. Each profile keeps its own history on this device, and you can switch between them on this page. Nothing is shared between profiles.
